Mounting a tag to one
Outdoor-rated 1/2″ 3M VHB tape is what I use, and it holds well. In a bed that sees foot traffic, or anywhere a hose or a dog can catch a tag, add a screw or a rivet as well — tape alone will eventually let go of something that gets knocked repeatedly.
