Large Acrylic Plant Stake with QR Code | Engraved Garden Marker | 5 Lines Custom Text | UV Resistant Outdoor

Add a scannable QR code to any garden, orchard, or collection. Each stake is precision laser engraved in my Phoenix studio on true two-tone acrylic — matte black with a white core that reveals through the engraving and won't fade, peel, or wash away.

Up to five engraved text lines plus a permanently engraved QR code — not a sticker, not ink, the same laser process as the lettering. Scans with any smartphone, no app required. I create the QR code image; you just provide the URL.

Fill in what you need and leave the rest blank. One line and a code for an interpretive sign, five for a grafted tree with a full record. The type stays the same size either way, and there's no layout to pick.

Link the code to a care guide, plant database, garden log, or your own website — whatever's useful for the person reading it.

What to put on the lines

A workable default is the name, then the botanical name, then whatever would otherwise be lost:

• Grafted apple — Honeycrisp / Malus domestica / M7 semi-dwarf / Grafted March 2024 / Scion from Mueller orchard
• Interpretive trail — Desert Willow / Chilopsis linearis — with the code linking to your species page
• Botanical collection — Bloodgood / Acer palmatum / Accession 2021-114 — code linking to the collection record

Line 1 prints largest. The four lines below it are all the same size as each other. Shorter entries print larger, and the counter under each field shows how much room is left — nothing gets cut off, the type just steps down a little to fit.

Care and installation

Soap and water is all these ever need — skip glass cleaner and rubbing alcohol, which can craze acrylic. If your ground is hard enough that the stake will not press in, water the spot the evening before and open a pilot hole first. Read the care and installation guide.
